Cistern Mapping Project 2008Between the dates of February 28th, 2008 and March 6th, 2008, investigators traveled to several cistern sites across Malta and Gozo. The goal of this project was to obtain video and sonar data that will help archaeologists understand the evolution of water storage systems in Malta. The data obtained provides information that was previously unknown including the size, shape, and complexity of the cisterns. |
