PSP Submission Procedure |
|
The course Resources page has a section for PSP
Scripts and Forms.
New Code Writing Procedure
- When you are writing new code you must follow the PSP
script and fill out a Time Recording Log (Microsoft
Word Document or HTML).
- Submit the PSP form to the QA manager at the next class session after
you have submitted your code to the build.
Defect Recording Procedure
- When fixing defects you must follow the Defect
Recording procedure.
- You should log the time it took to fix the defect and record the module
name.
- Anyone can fix defects, but if a defect is found in code you wrote,
the time it took to fix the defect (no matter who fixes it) is added to
your time log.
- Submit the Defect Recording Log to the QA manager at the next class
session after you have submitted the updated code to the build.
If you have questions, here is a FAQ.
Notes
- We do NOT need to complete the Project Summary Form.
- The QA manager gathers all the PSP forms and may publicize which have
been completed (but do not publicize individual data).
- The QA manager submits all the PSP forms to Dr. Dalbey with the Release.
E-mail Dr. Dalbey
if you have any questions or need clarifications. He expects these forms
to be done accurately and precisely.
