README for TimeLogger Ver3.0.11 Time Logger is a "stopwatch" utility for Windows. It was written in Visual Basic v6.0. I hope it's obvious how to use it. Click on one of the buttons on the left to start the timer. A big "stop" button appears, which you click when you want to stop the timer. The duration is listed in the Log display showing Start and Stop times and the duration ("delta"). Double click on a line in the display if you want to add a comment. Sometimes you may be interrupted but forget to stop the clock. When you return, you can stop it and then press "Interrupt" and you can enter the duration of interrupt time that you would like deducted from the previous phase. The Total button adds up all the Delta times. You can store the Time Log using the Save and Load buttons. Clear erases the Log display. The StayOnTop button causes the window to remain on top of other windows. Once clicked, it turns into a TakeOffTop button so you can revert to the initial state. You can also use keyboard shortcuts, if you hate the mouse like I do. The underlined letter on the button, when pressed in conjunction with the ALT key, activates that button. Or you can tab to a button and press ENTER. Once the timer is running, the stop button is selected so simply pressing ENTER stops the clock. When the clock is running, the elapsed time is shown on a blue background, to distinguish it from when the clock is stopped and there is a plain background. LIMITATIONS: Totals accurate only for Delta up to 999. If you are working that long without a break, you're not a human, you're a machine! Time duration does not properly wrap around midnight.
