Proposal for Galaxy Sleuth Stage 1 Implementation or Feasibility Prototype. Client/Server networking is fully functioning; 1- 6 players can join a networked game. Game play is mostly functioning; Players can pose hypothesis refute hypothesis make final accusation Text only user interface. clues are represented by a single character: Murderer: A - F, Weapon: 1 - 6, Planets: U - Z Players don't get to choose a character. Turn order is in order of connecting to server. A hypothesis can include any planet, not just the one you are occupying. No evidence list. No board. Thus, no moves. Thus each player automatically gets to pose a hypothesis during their turn. Optional improvements: Game board is a linear board. No restrictions on number of players that can occupy a spot. You must be on a planet to pose a hypothesis or accusation. Some simple movement rules are enforced. Client needs to verify that a hypothesis uses legal characters, but not one of each type. Refuting must verify that the user entry is actually evidence in the hand, and that it refutes the given hypothesis.
