Homework Programming Problems

For each topic in the course you are required to complete programming problems from the end of the chapters in the textbook shown in the table below. It is suggested that you follow the procedure described in how to build a program. Submit your work in class no later than the due date shown in the course calendar.

Submission guidelines

Follow the class coding standard. Include your name and the problem number in the program header comment.
Include printout of your source code.
Include a printout showing the execution of your program with all your test cases. There must be test data that forces the program to execute both sides (true and false) of every decision and loop in the program. There are many ways to create this printout; my favorite is to run the program on hornet and use the Print function of my SSH client program.
Inkjet or laser jet output must be clear and legible, not streaked or blurred.
Printouts of computer source code must use at least 10 point non-proportional ( monospaced) font such as courier.

You may select any of the problems listed in the extra credit column. For every three problems completed you earn a bonus of 1% added to your course grade.
